Mrs. Anna M. (Price) Ferreira, age 92, of 3rd Street, Bristol, died Monday, April 16, 2018, at the Warren Center, Warren, surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Gilbert Ferreira, her husband of 50 years, who preceded her in death on the same day in 1997.

Born and raised in Phillipsburg, N.J., she was a daughter of the late James and Jenny (Vagas) Price. A resident of Bristol most of her life, a homemaker, she previously worked for several years for the former Carr’s Manufacturing Company, before raising her family. She was a communicant of St. Mary’s Church, Bristol, and enjoyed swimming, bike riding, ice skating and was an avid New England Patriots fan.

She is survived by seven children, Jack E. Ferreira (Sherrill A.), Gilbert J. Ferreira, Jr. (Nancy), Dennis J. Ferreira (Cheryl A. Kelley), all of Bristol, Deborah J. Finglas of Swansea, Mass., Linda M. Souza (Dennis) of Smithfield, and Claudia A. Ferreira and Jane C. Medeiros, both of Bristol; eight grandchildren, Beth Grove, Heather Ferreira, Christopher Ferreira (Tracy), Vanessa Finglas, Kelly Franklin (Mark), Joshua Souza, Kaitlyn Medeiros and Lexy Medeiros; 10 great-grandchildren, Marc Grove, Corey, Austin and Hannah Allen, Elizabeth and Sean Quimby, Khloe Lambert, Abgail Almeida, Logan and Jameson Franklin; and a brother, Bernard Price of Phillipsburg, N.J.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Rosanne M. Ferreira, and three brothers, Richard, James and Wilfred Price.

Funeral services from the Sansone Funeral Home, 192 Wood St., Bristol, are Monday, April 23, 2018, at 9 a.m., with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Mary’s Church, 330 Wood St., Bristol. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Chestnut Street, Bristol.
