Letter: Russia takes full advantage of our greed

To the editor:

After 11 years working for the Army Corp of Engineers and the Office of The Secretary of Defense I learned some things about the reality, the entity, that is our government. During this time, I began to learn their game and how it was played. I ultimately ended up at The Pentagon Renovation Program in Arlington, Virginia. The den of antiquity, but a wealth of knowledge.

Many know that renovating your bathroom can be a nightmare. Imagine renovating six million square feet of federal office space filled with more presidential appointees than you can find crammed into, probably anywhere.

Our government is a mutant monster administered by people that are, mostly, there to feed the monster without the minor task of training it. These are the people that we send our money expecting some modicum of success. The cognitive response of the monster is brute force and the weaponization of funds. Conflict, opposition, clans, groups.

And then there are the Russians. The chess players. They are the kind of people that will hack part of the US primary elections and give us a little dirt on “A normal day in the life of a US politician,” then just sit back and watch the show. Watch as we tear each other apart.

Many think the Russians hacked or computers, the Democratic elections (even though they were hacking each other) to mess with our free elections. But if you believe that was there ultimate goal you’d be wrong and you know nothing about Russians. Not many years ago a Republican presidential nominee espoused the evils of the Russians. He was soundly denounced by President Obama and the rest of that establishment as crazy. Our leaders. Now look at them. The Russians see this as well.

We are the people of greed, the main cause of starvation, illness and the depravity of the world. Because of our greed, the Russians know we want a house a new kitchen and the BMW, and not Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness. We are for us, not for anyone else and we prove it every day. They know what greedy people we are. They know, and all they have to do is start one side against the other.

Our 1st estate, the media, is now some mutant virus being used by the Russians to attack anything and everything not of “them,” The perfect tool. A group whose main goal is advertising money, self-aggrandizement, and providing the American people one of the greatest disservices in our history.

They lie to us always, they are partisan, and you listen to them. Shame on you. You’re not the America I’ve fought for or would fight for again. You cowards. And the Russians know this. Just ask them, they’ll tell you the same. American ignorance of the people and the government of the Russian Federation is profound. And that’s your fault!
