To the editor:

The Village Improvement' Society's annual Chicken BBQ sold out! Many thanks to all of you enthusiastic supporters who turned out for this event.

Merchants, volunteers and board members all rallied to help. From organizing, advertising, donating, cooking, right through the weather that caused rescheduling, your steady efforts manifested true Little Compton dedication and community spirit.

Thank you to each of you who contributed such hard work, such affection for a town institution.
