Several people were issued trespass notices after police were called to the Ocean Drive area for a report of surfers trespassing.
Thursday, March 16
A resident reported an IRS scam call.
A resident reported losing a set of Honda keys in the Commons area. The person asked that he be contacted if they were turned in.
Friday, March 17
Officers were called to Long Highway address for a report of a rabid raccoon on the property. They located the animal and it was destroyed. Because the raccoon had been in contact with two dogs, the dogs had to be quarantined.
Saturday, March 18
Sean D. Simmons, 32, of 185 Long Highway, Little Compton, was arrested on a District Court warrant after a vehicle in which he was a passenger was stopped for an infraction on Colebrook Road at 12:20 a.m. He was booked and transported to the ACI.
A woman brought a dog she had found wandering in the road to police headquarters. The owner was located and retrieved the dog.
A cell phone was found on the playground — its owner later came to the station to get it.
