Mrs. Manchester was born in Little Rock, Ark., daughter of the late Roy and Ola (Sledd) Elkins, and had been a longtime resident of Little Compton. The family wishes to give a special thanks to Ted Duffield for the many years of courteous and generous care he gave to the Manchester Family along with the staff at both Charlton Memorial Hospital and the Bristol V.N.A. for the care and support they showed her.

Survivors include her two daughters, Harriett Manchester of Little Compton and Juanita Dubuc and her husband Brian of S. Yarmouth, Mass.; and many nieces and nephews.
