Newman YMCA to Host 10th Annual Turkey Trot

Get your Thanksgiving holiday started on a healthy note with the Newman YMCA’s 10th annual Turkey Trot! Runners of all ages are invited to take part in the 5k and 10k races, which will begin and end at the YMCA branch in Seekonk.

The early bird entry fee, available until Friday, November 17th, is $30 for the 5k and $35 for the 10k; the fee for registrations submitted November 18th through the morning of November 23rd is $35 for the 5k and $40 for the 10k. One hundred percent of the proceeds will benefit the Newman YMCA’s Financial Aid Campaign to assist the many children and families in need of YMCA services.

Participants can register at the Newman YMCA or online. All online registrants will receive a t-shirt and awards will be given to the first male and female finisher of both the 5K and 10K, as well as to the top three finishers in each age group.
