BRISTOL — Coggeshall Farm Museum received a new member to the family when a baby lamb named Levon was born on Sunday, March, 25. Levon is a Gulf Coast native sheep which are primarily used for wool. They are a critically endangered species that Coggeshall is helping to preserve. “Levon is super healthy and is currently under a socialization program like all of our animals, where the public is invited to meet her one-on-one with her mom present,” said Coggeshall Farm Museum Director of Development McKayla Hoffman. The farm is open to the public on Saturdays and Sundays from 10 a.m. till 4 p.m. The public can meet Levon and other animals at 3 p.m. when they are brought in for the day.
