Donovan: We deserve an open and honest government

Posted

Throughout this campaign I’ve listened to your concerns and shared mine.

We must find ways to respond effectively to the overdose crisis. We look forward to the promised improvements to Metacom Avenue for a more pleasant ride between Portsmouth and Bristol. I’ve shared my commitment to ensuring that seniors and veterans are well cared for and can participate in and enjoy all that our communities have to offer.

I’ve always been open and honest in expressing my values — I challenge the name callers to identify any of my positions that are extreme or out of step with our communities. We deserve a government that operates openly and honestly. I will continue fighting to make this a reality at the State House, starting with a vote for a new House Speaker in January.

I respectfully ask for your continued support and your vote on Nov. 6.

Susan R. Donovan

Bristol

Ms. Donovan is a Democrat running for House District 69.
