Elizabeth A. Langello, 68, Portsmouth

Mrs. Elizabeth A. “Liz” (Silva) Langello, 68 of Portsmouth and formerly of Bourne Street, Bristol, for most of her life, died Saturday, April 22, 2017 at her home. She was the wife of Felix J. Langello, Jr., her husband of 44 years.

Born in Fall River, Mass., and raised in Bristol, she was the daughter of Mary (Silvia) Silva of Bristol and the late Daniel Silva, Sr. Liz was an administrative assistant at the Bristol Senior Center for 15 years, retiring in 2016. She previously was a teacher’s aide at the former St. Elizabeth’s School for many years. 

A communicant of St. Elizabeth’s Church, Liz enjoyed crocheting, knitting, bus trips and traveling, especially to Pennsylvania, and trips to the Newport Grand. 

She is survived, in addition to her husband and mother, by two children, Felix J. Langello, III (Heidi Olsen), and Danielle Stroessner (Paul E. Jr.), both of Bristol; a sister, Gertrude Bastanzi of Rumford; and Daniel Silva, Jr. (Denise) of Bristol.  
Funeral Services from the Sansone Funeral Home, 192 Wood St., Bristol, Friday, April 28, 2017 at 8 a.m., with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9 a.m. in St. Elizabeth’s Church, 577 Wood St., Bristol. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Chestnut Street, Bristol. Visiting hours Thursday, April 27, 2017, 4-8 p.m.
