Letter: O'Reilly Auto Parts has no regard for the rules

A few thoughts on the proposed (O’Reilly Auto Parts store):

• O’Reilly’s has a bad track record of environmental pollution/offenses and has been fined heavily for it. They are just another chain store with no regard for rules and regulations.

• The developer is using a classic bait-and-switch plan of action. He could not find a tenant to fill his second building, so now he wants a larger building but fewer parking spaces. He claims this will actually have a lesser impact on the total development. How stupid does he think we are? It's all smoke and mirrors.

• Mr. Eucalitto should be held to his original agreement with the town as to the size of the second building. You can't cram in a business in that space — well boohoo! Why don't you plant some grass and trees and stop making this end of town such an eyesore.

If anyone wants to have some input or show some support, go to the zoning meeting this Thursday, the 15th.
