We wish to extend in invitation to your readers to a rally being held to help honor and celebrate Women’s History Month and the work of multiple human rights organizations.
The R.I. Chapter of the Women’s March on Washington is leading this gathering. The Women’s March believes that our beloved community is the framework for the future and using events such as this can help achieve a reconciled world by raising the level of relationships in our communities to a height where justice prevails and persons attain their full human potential.
At the event, participants will hear from a diverse group of speakers, enjoy local musicians and food trucks. It is being held on Saturday, March 25, at Roger Williams National Memorial Park, North Main Street, Providence, from noon to 3 p.m.
This event is co-sponsored by Working Families R.I., Resist Hate R.I., Coyote R.I., the R.I. Democratic Party and the Women's Fund of R.I. This event is a pro-human rights event that will be non-violent. We hope that many will join and add their voices to the chorus who believe in equal rights for everyone!
