Little Compton waterfront house sells for $4 million

LITTLE COMPTON — Mott & Chace Sotheby’s International Realty has announced the sale of 40, 43, 46 Taylor’s Lane, Little Compton, for $4,090,000. According to data from the Rhode Island Statewide Multiple Listing Service, this is the highest priced sale in the town in over a year.

The sellers of this waterfront home were represented by Ted Marvell, sales associate with Mott & Chace Sotheby’s International Realty. The buyers were represented by Jainsworth Cern of Shethar Real Estate.

 “This truly unique and amazing property offers expansive water views overlooking the Sakonnet River and the Atlantic Ocean,” said Mr. Marvell.  

The house has five bedrooms, three baths and 4,096 square feet of living space.

It is assessed by the town at $3,881,700 and has a town tax bill of $21,000.

There are three separate lots included in the property. The main house is located on 1.53 acres while the garage shed is on a separate lot of .62 acres. The field lot is 1.5 acres.
