PORTSMOUTH — It’s dodgeball time!
The fifth annual Project Purple Dodgeball tournament will be held at 6 p.m. in the Portsmouth High School field house.
The Town Council Monday night unanimously proclaimed Jan. 21 to Feb. 1 as Project Purple 2019.
The student group Patriots Committed have rallied fellow classmates, teachers, administrators, police officers, firefighters and other community members to support Project Purple by participating in the event.
The public is welcome to come out and show their Purple pride and celebrate local youth who choose to be substance abuse-free. Everyone’s being asked to bring jars of peanut butter and jelly and boxes of mac and cheese or cereal as donations.
