Rose M. Conti, 93, Bristol

Mrs. Rose M. (Calderiso) Conti, 93, of 160 Franklin St., Bristol, died Saturday, Aug. 12, 2017 at St. Elizabeth’s Manor, Bristol. She was the former wife of the late Gaetano M. Conti.

Born in Bristol and a lifelong resident, she was a daughter of the late Michael and Libera (Troiano) Calderiso. A homemaker, Rose was a communicant of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church and enjoyed spending time visiting with family and friends.

She is survived by a son, Robert A. Conti (Diana) of Assonet, Mass.; six grandchildren, Belinda Conti of Attleboro, Mass., Michelle Hopkins (Joel) of Norton, Mass., Keith Conti, Derrick Conti and Nathan R. Conti (Kristen), all of Fall River, and Christopher M. Conti (Jessica) of Assonet; great grandchildren, Tyler Conti, Taylor Beese and Amber Hopkins and her twin brother, Nicholas Calderiso of East Providence. In addition to her former husband and parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers, Matthew, Julio, Joseph and Dominic Calderiso, and three sisters, Mary Ziamba, Patricia Dunbar and Mona Corso.

Funeral services from the Sansone Funeral Home, 192 Wood St., Bristol, Thursday, Aug. 17, 2017 at 9 a.m., with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 141 State St., Bristol.Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Chestnut Street, Bristol. Visiting hours will be Wednesday, Aug. 16, 4-7 p.m.
