Silver Alert issued for Portsmouth man

PORTSMOUTH — R.I. State Police has issued a Silver Alert for a 73-year-old local man who was last Thursday, April 20, at 8:45 a.m. in the Baylies Avenue area in Portsmouth.

Police said Malcolm Almgren, who has dementia, was wearing khaki pants, a blue pullover and beige shoes when he was last seen.

He is 6 feet tall and weighs between 174 and 184 pounds. He has blue eyes and his head is bald on top with gray hair on the sides. 

He may be driving a gray, 2006 Ford 500 with a license plate of (R.I.) DU 479.
