PORTSMOUTH — The “runway” was all theirs as more than a dozen models showed off the latest fashion trends Friday night in the Portsmouth High School auditorium.

They were struttin’ their stuff for PHS student Danielle Costa’s senior project, a Unified Fashion Show.

The event featured models with disabilities who don't usually get to take part in such activities, Danielle said.

They wore clothes from Fat Face as well as Angela Moore, both in Newport. Marriott Salon, K. Garcia’s Productions, 15 Point Road, Newport Vineyards and the YMCA also helped make the event a success.

Danielle’s mentor for the project was speech teacher Abigail Vellucci.
