PORTSMOUTH — The Portsmouth High School girls’ varsity basketball team made easy work of the Chariho Chargers at home Friday night, 66-27.

The Patriots’ Lexi Greffen led all scorers with 22 points in the non-league game, including two 3-pointers. Emily Colicci added 11, including a 3-pointer.

Rounding out the scoring for Portsmouth were Becca Allder (8); Kendall Ferris (7); Molly Goulart (5); Logan Lucenti, Grace Gesmondi and Maura McKinnon (3 apiece); and Gabrielle Schenck and Courtney Swider (2 apiece.)

Next up

The Division I Patriots’ next two games are on the road: Prout School (non-league) on Tuesday, Dec. 11, then La Salle Academy on Thursday, Dec. 13.

The team returns home on Monday, Dec. 17, for a matchup against Moses Brown School.
