PORTSMOUTH — Play ball!
It was a festive scene as Portsmouth Little League celebrated Opening Day at Glen Park Saturday morning. Players marched in an parade down to the softball field, where they were greeted by Greg Blythe, the league president.
The league is coming off a good year, with two championships won — in Majors Softball District II and 9-11 Majors District II.
