PORTSMOUTH – The Portsmouth High School boys’ hockey team notched its fourth straight win Saturday night with a 4-0 win over the Lincoln-East Providence co-op squad at Lynch Arena in Pawtucket.
The Patriots’ Matt Nordhill recorded his third shutout of the season and had 25 saves.
Portsmouth got its goals from Mike Alves, Matt Marion, Nolan O’Brien and Christian Schenck, who also had two assists.
The Patriots improved their Division II-South record to 5-4-1.
Upcoming games
Portsmouth next faces the Rogers-Middletown-Rocky Hill co-op team on Thursday, Feb. 1, followed by South Kingstown on Saturday, Feb. 3.
Both games start at 7:30 p.m. at Portsmouth Abbey.
