Several people charged by Portsmouth Police with DWI

PORTSMOUTH — Here are some highlights from the Portsmouth Police report from over the past week:

Tuesday, March 20

Ryan W. Bartell, 21, of 760 Bristol Ferry Road, was charged with firing in a compact area after he was arrested on a warrant at the Richtmyer Apartment House on Bristol Ferry Road around 9:30 p.m.

Wednesday, March 21

Brian C. Barnes, 24, of 61 Slater Ave., Apt. 12, Providence, was charged with breaking and entering into a building with criminal intent after police responded to an alarm sounding at East Coast Construction on Chase Road around 12:40 a.m.

Friday, March 23

Travis L. Stedman, 25, of 48 Boom Bridge Road, North Stonington, Conn., was charged with driving while intoxicated (first offense) after he was pulled over for a traffic violation on Boyds Lane at the Route 24 South off-ramp around 11:30 p.m. Mr. Stedman was also cited for refusing a chemical test, police said.

Saturday, March 24

Candace K. Krupka, 38, of 383 Oaklawn Ave., Apt. 232, Cranston, was charged with driving while intoxicated (first offense) following a motor vehicle accident on West Main Road at Scott Drive around 4:30 a.m. Ms. Krupka was also cited for refusing a chemical test and driving without an active license, police said.

Sunday, March 25

Bradley M. Kelly, 25, of 20 Lee Ave., Newport, was charged with driving while intoxicated (first offense) after being pulled over for a traffic violation on Mill Lane at Flint Corn Road at about 2 a.m.

Tuesday, March 27

Iyeshia N. Person, 24, of 242 Walcott St., Pawtucket, was arrested on a warrant after being pulled over for a traffic violation on Route 24 North at Boyd’s Lane around 7:50 p.m.

Molly E. White, 34, of 53 Kerr Road, was charged with domestic disorderly conduct after police responded to her home to investigate a report of a domestic disturbance around 8:25 p.m.

Wednesday, March 28

Kyle P. Bartis Johnston, 25, of 26 Elaine Ave., was charged with violating a no-contact order after being arrested on a warrant at the police station around 8:45 a.m.

Roger M. Daly, 37, of 476 Bank St., Fall River, was arrested on a 2nd District Court bench warrant after police responded to the area of Anthony Road and the Montaup Country Club golf course to investigate a report of a suspicious person.
