Honoré,

I applaud the efforts of the first responders who save lives - Every life. All human life is worth our effort. It may be difficult to see past the addiction but I promise that each one of these people is a life worth saving. The struggle with addiction is complex and wide spread. Whether you realize it or not, you interface with people who struggle silently every day... Addiction includes, but is not limited to alcohol, drugs, prescription medication, eating disorders... That really just scratches the surface.

We all struggle in one way or another. Have compassion for people who struggle with addiction. Connection is where they will find healing. Connection is where we all find healing.

He's worked two different stints at East Bay Newspapers, for a total of 18 years with the company so far. He also loves to cook crazy New Orleans dishes for his wife of 25 years, Michelle, and their two sons, Jake and Max.
