I live on Kingswood Road, 1 block South of Fales Road. Trying to get out of Fales to go South on Hope can be a real challenge during busy hours, but to go North on Hope it can be a nightmare. You can opt to pull out onto Hope and wish for the best or you can go South then take a left onto a side street, turn around and go back onto Hope St. North. Keep in mind, Colt STATE Park visitors start in May, or earlier, and continue till September or later. Whomever did the survey of traffic in this area, did not do due diligence by testing the traffic in DECEMBER and not comparing the act; summer months, traffic or even the Spring and Fall months. Do they think we are "country bumpkins"?

And finally, the most important concern is the the Fire Station covering so much of the town and in most cases responding to crisis situations. In heart attacks, or choking, and/or stroke,, time is of the essence. If this were your family member, would haveing a drive thru at a coffee shop take prescence over one of these? I think not!

I'm not against a drive thru Duncan Donuts in the Plaza, but there has to be a better place and if not, than find a another place where

the traffic congestion is not so threatening.

From: Zoning Board ‘inclined to deny’ Dunkin, but punts on decision
