All of those things are reasons I like living here. Respect for all people, separation of church and state, respect for individual freedoms, respect for animal welfare, respect for firearms, and an understanding that pensions are a part of a workers compensation they agreed to while working, and revoking them after the fact is theft. It is a great place to be.

And lets be honest. We won't consolidate school districts because it will mean people in Little Compton and Barrington's tax money would be used to educate poor black kids in Pawtucket and Central Falls.
