Jed A. Coggins, 89, died March 29, 2018, in Lubec, Maine surrounded by his family in the same home in which he was born on December 18, 1928. He was the son of the late Wilbur and Flora Coggins.
Born in Lubec, he later lived for some 30 years in Riverside while working for the Railroad Perishable Inspection Agency as regional manager.
He is survived by his wife of 67 years Mary (Cline); two sisters: Sarah McPhail and Winnifred Bryant; four children: Brenda Santos (Manny) of Homosassa, Fla., Robert Coggins (Barbara) of Delmar, N.Y., James of Lubec and Jeffrey (Robin) of Pawtucket; He leaves behind his beloved grandchildren: Manny, Kevin, Cristin, Pamela. Jessica and Christopher; seven great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
