Carol Ann (Palumbo) Huffman, 67, Riverside

Carol Ann (Palumbo) Huffman, born on February 13, 1951, passed away Monday, November 5, 2018, surrounded by loved ones. She was the beloved wife of Charles "Chuck" S. Huffman and the daughter of Mildred (Corolla) and the late Frank Palumbo.

She leaves five brothers; Russell (Jackie), Stephen (Pat), Gary, Michael (Betty), Thomas and sisters Linda Souza (Tim), Marcia Ouellette (Phil) and the late Kathy. Also, her stepchildren Mark, Scott, the late Suzanne Perry and her grandson Forest Perry. Also her beloved nieces, nephews and cousins. She was loved by all and will be sorely missed.

Memorial services will be held at the Riverside Covenant Church, 165 Rounds Ave. Riverside, on Saturday, Nov. 24, at 1:30 p.m. Arrangements by Charles Coelho Funeral Home, coelhofuneralhome.net.

A lifelong Portsmouth resident, Jim graduated from Portsmouth High School in 1982 and earned a journalism degree from the University of Rhode Island in 1986. He's worked two different stints at East Bay Newspapers, for a total of 18 years with the company so far. When not running all over town bringing you the news from Portsmouth, Jim listens to lots and lots and lots of music, watches obscure silent films from the '20s and usually has three books going at once. He also loves to cook crazy New Orleans dishes for his wife of 25 years, Michelle, and their two sons, Jake and Max.
