The girlfriend of Anthony Stravato, the convicted cat killer just released from the ACI, was arrested Tuesday afternoon by Warren police and charged with desecrating a grave.

Alyssa Lamountain, 20, of 6 Greenhouse Court, was arrested Tuesday, August 10 at approximately 3:27 p.m. and charged with desecration of a grave at the South Burial Ground, a felony, and larceny under $1,500.

Deputy Warren Police Chief Joseph Loiselle said Ms. Lamountain appeared before a bail commissioner and was released on $2,000 surety bail. She is scheduled for a pre-arraignment conference in October.

Deputy Chief Loiselle said the arrest came as a result of information received and a subsequent investigation. He declined to release more information, saying doing so could compromise the ongoing case.
