18th annual Camp Ramleh yard sale

The 18th Annual Camp Ramleh Yard Sale will take place at St. George’s School’s Cabot/Harman Ice Center this Saturday, June 10.

The highly anticipated yard sale is stocked with students’ former housewares, school supplies, sporting goods, furniture, clothing, and electronics.

In past years, sale items have included floor and table lamps, small appliances, bookcases, coffee tables, couches, pillows, towels, coats, sheets, blankets, comforters, curtains, jewelry, sports jackets, athletic equipment, backpacks, suitcases, office chairs, rugs, and boys’ and girls’ clothing and accessories.

All proceeds from the yard sale go toward funding a summer camp experience for children from Aquidneck Island who might not otherwise be able to attend.

WHEN: Sat, June 10, 8am-12pm

WHERE: St. George’s School’s Cabot/Harman Ice Center, 384 Purgatory Road, Middletown

Jim McGaw

A lifelong Portsmouth resident, Jim graduated from Portsmouth High School in 1982 and earned a journalism degree from the University of Rhode Island in 1986. He's worked two different stints at East Bay Newspapers, for a total of 18 years with the company so far. When not running all over town bringing you the news from Portsmouth, Jim listens to lots and lots and lots of music, watches obscure silent films from the '20s and usually has three books going at once. He also loves to cook crazy New Orleans dishes for his wife of 25 years, Michelle, and their two sons, Jake and Max.
