BRISTOL — The 88th Army Band kicked off the Bristol Fourth of July concert series at Independence Park on Tuesday night. Chief warrant officer Todd Garrepy directed the band through a selection from Star Wars and many other musical favorites. During intermission the Commander swore in new recruit SPC John Hennigan and promoted William Chilton to sergeant.
