Olloclip 4-in-1 lens turns your iPhone into a professional camera

In this age of the iPhone, everyone has a good camera in their pocket to captures those every day "moments". It seems like everyone on the planet is constantly taking photos. From selfies to Grandma's birthday, we all have good digit cameras where ever we go.

But are they as good as we would like to think? The answer is a loud no.

Photos are cut off, many lack focus and you can't good close up photos. The default camera of iPhones (and other devices) are good all purpose cameras to capture mid-range images but thats it. Unless you know the tricks of the trade, your confined to a small range of photos.

Olloclip 4-in-1 lenses can change that.

Olloclip 4-in-1 lens is an external lens system which clips to the top of your iPhone (or other apple device) allowing for more range with your internal camera. The Olloclip is made of rugged plastic with two macro lenses attached (one on each side). A wide-angle lens and fisheye lens is screwed over each macro lens giving you four different lenses to use. Simply slide the clip with the desired lens onto your iPhone and start snapping those pics.

The Olloclip can be used on both the front and back lenses which is perfect for taking those selfies. It has been optimized to fit perfectly over the front-facing camera allowing the user take take enhanced selfies and FaceTime video chats. The wide-angle lens allows the user to capture all the people in frame so Grandma won't get cut out.

And this isn't just for pictures. The four different lenses enhances the built-in stock lens to enhance both pictures and video. Now you are able to shoot video of those breath-taken vistas or capture slo-mo video of a bee collecting pollen. The four different lenses really allows the user to get creative with their photographs.

  • The Wide-Angle Lens

The wide-angle lens is great for capturing large areas. Its a great lens for scenic views and really capturing the beauty of nature. I use this lens while I'm out on hikes all the time. Its perfect for getting shots of large areas that are of some distance from you like a beautiful mountain view or a sunset at the beach. Its also perfect for selfies. You are able to get a large area around you so your friends (or Grandma) won't get cut out of the photo.

  • The Fisheye Lens

The fisheye lens gives your photos that fish-eyed look. The subject of your photo stays in focus and undistorted while the rest of the image gets a strong visual distortion as it gets farther from the center. It gives you an extreme wide-angle of view at the cost of straight "natural" lines. While this isn't my favorite lens (as it doesn't fit my tastes), it can make for some interesting photos and a great addition to your toolset.

  • Macro Lenses

Now for my favorite lenses. The macro lenses allow you to take extremely close photos of your subject. With this lens think small. I've always been fascinated with insects and the micro world and this lens is perfect for seeing the unseen. There are two built-in macro lenses, 10x macro and 15x macro, which allows your iPhone to focus very close to the lens. I use this lens all the time to take photos of insects, trees, plants and money. Its a great set of lenses for those interested in macrophotography.

You can see more of my macro photos taken with the Olloclip 4-in-1 lens on my Instagram.

Olloclip 4-in-1 lens is a great, easy-to-use photographic tool. Its designed perfectly to fit your iPhone and to be used quickly. Its small and can easily fit in your pocket or worn as a pendent with the wearable pendant clip. You get a well balanced set of lenses which are perfect for any photographic situation.

The only really issue I have with the clip is that you must remove your case in order to use the lenses. The Olloclip is designed to perfectly fit over your device and only your device. Like most iPhone owners, I have a case. To use the Olloclip, I have to first remove my phone from it's case then get my Olloclip and slide it onto my phone. While not a huge issue, it does take time to set up which negates the lens for use on the go. If your planning on taking selfies with your friends or pics or video and an event, make sure to be set up. Though an Ollocase is available for iPhone 6/6Plus for $29.99.

The Olloclip 4-in-1 lens is an amazing set of lenses for your iPhone. Its easy to use, perfectly designed and super lightweight. While you have to remove your phone from it's case, Olloclip 4-in-1 lens is a great product. This is a must have for anyone who shoots photos with their device.
