Allan R. Wilson, 77, of Warren died Saturday Feb. 25 2017 at home, surrounded by his family.

He was the husband of Gloria (Botelho) Wilson.

Mr. Wilson was born in Providence a son of the late Robert A. and Bridget (Brennan) Wilson.

Allan was a Plumber with the Local 51, for over 30 years.

He was a Warren resident all of his life, a parishioner of St. Mary of the Bay Church.

Mr. Wilson was a former Reserve Police Officer for the Town of Warren, many years ago, he was also in the Warren Drum Corps Indian band.

Mr. Wilson also enjoyed refinishing furniture  ,his Koi pond, and having coffee with friends.

Besides his wife he is survived by  his son Allan R. Wilson Jr and his wife Mary Beth  of Warren, his daughters  Lori Wilson Medeiros , Sandra Wilson both of Warren, his sister Maureen Ponte of Swansea.

He is also survived by his nephew Michael S. Ponte of Swansea , MA.

He was the grandfather of Heather Wilson, Hayley Wilson, Marisa Medeiros, and Megan Medeiros.

His funeral will be held Saturday March 4, 2017 at 8:30am from the Smith Funeral and Memorial Services, 8 Schoolhouse Road, Warren, followed by a mass of Christian Burial at 10:00am in St. Mary of the Bay Church, 645 Main Street, Warren, burial will follow in North Burial Ground  ,Bristol.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Calling hours are Saturday morning from 8:30am – 9:30am.
