Anna DiMatteo Correiro Mansi, daughter of John and Concetta DiMatteo, passed away peacefully at Evergreen Health Center on Monday, February 27, 2017. She was the wife of the late Virgilio Correiro and the late Eugene Mansi.
Anna worked at the Warren Handkerchief factory, Well Made Dress, Rusty's Variety, and Consumer Drugs. She was a member of the St. Thomas the Apostle Choir for many years and she served in the Foster Grandparents Program at Bristol County Head Start and the East Bay Educational Collaborative.
She is survived by her children, Michael and Cynthia Correiro, Anne Marie and Mark Rosner, Leo Mansi, and Kathleen and Joseph Sousa; her loving grandchildren, Rebecca Correiro Lincoln, Jacob Correiro, Allison Rosner Walsh, Elizabeth Rosner Diatta, MaryEllen Sousa Roeben and Lauren Sousa Gilmore; and her great grandchildren, Spencer, Emerson, Amara, Emma, Katelyn and Daila. She was the sister of Rocco DiMatteo, Anthony DiMatteo, Mary Chianese, Alphonse DiMatteo, Rose Lombardi, Irene Ventresca and the late Carmen DiMatteo.
Visitation will be Saturday, March 4, 2017 from 9 to 10:30 a.m. in the Wilbur-Romano Funeral Home, 615 Main St., Warren with a Mass of Christian burial at 11 a.m. in St. Thomas the Apostle, 500 Metacom Ave., Warren. Burial in St. Jean the Baptiste Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her honor to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, PO Box 1000, Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38148-0142.
