Bristol arrests: Felony larceny, strangulation, suspended licenses

The Bristol Police Department made the following arrests last week:

Richard T. Nunez, 43, of 39 Milburn Road, East Providence, was charged with driving with a suspended license on Hope Street at 8:40 a.m. Aug. 15.

Jose Tavares, 21, of an unknown Bristol address, was charged with larceny over $1,500 and receiving stolen goods after a car was reportedly broken into on Collins Street.

Michael Decosta, 20, of 23 Davis St., Warren, was charged with domestic assault and domestic assault by strangulation. He was arrested in Warwick and held at the Warwick Police station until Bristol officers picked him up.

Tina M. Giorgio, 28, of 52 Maple St., Apt. 3, Cranston, was charged with driving with a suspended license on Metacom Avenue just before 5 p.m. Aug. 15.

Rachel L. Coleman, 32, of 70 Washington St., Apt. 1E, Bristol, was charged with embezzlement/fraudulent conversion of a $100 bill at Subway on Metacom Avenue at 8 a.m. Aug. 16. She was also arrested on a bench warrant for failure to appear in court on a previous charge of fraudulent use of a credit card.

Tara J. Medeiros, 21, of 381 Metacom Ave., Apr. 2B, Warren, was charged with driving with a suspended license on Hope Street just after 3:30 p.m. Aug. 16.

Talia C. Kelley, 32, of 106 Tower Hill Road, Tiverton, was charged with misdemeanor shoplifting. She was taken into custody in Tiverton and brought to Bristol.

Robert A. Bennett, 58, of 24 3rd St., Apr. 201, Warren, was charged with driving under the influence, driving with a suspended license and refusal to submit to a chemical test. He was arrested at a liquor store on Metacom Avenue at 9:30 p.m. Aug. 16.

Renee A. Palardy, 53, of 117 Dewolf Ave., Apt. 1, Bristol, was arrested on a bench warrant for failure to appear in court on a previous charge of disorderly conduct. She was taken into custody at Wood and Franklin streets at 9 a.m. Aug. 17.

Courtney August Ross, 43, of 700 N. Courtaney Parkway, Apt. 216, Merritt Island, Fla., was charged with disorderly conduct after police were called to Hope and Franklin streets around 2 p.m. for reports of a fight in progress.

Margaret Molloy, 51, of 18 Greene St., Apt. 1, Warren, was charged with driving with a suspended license on Metacom Avenue just after 9 p.m. Aug. 17

Emanuel Tavares, 32, of 216 Franklin St., Apt. 1, Bristol, was charged with DUI on Wood Street just before 1:30 a.m. Aug. 18.

Joel Michael King, 40, of 1729 Lockwood Road, Port Clinton, Ohio, was charged with disorderly conduct, assault and resisting arrest on Aug. 19.

Carlos A. Estrella, 31, of 427 Bay St., Apt. 1, Fall River, Mass., was charged with larceny under $1,500.

Joshua Sousa, 31, of Alma Ave., Bristol, was charged with domestic assault, third offense.

Caroline E. Murphy, 20, of 84 Touisset Road, was charged with underage possession of alcohol on Bay View Avenue just after midnight Aug. 20.

Caleb Austin Santiago, 25, of 619 East 1st Court, Panama City, Fla., was charged with larceny over $1,500 at the Shell Food Mart on Metacom Avenue at 4 a.m.

Cansepcion C. Delacruz, 29, of 779 White Hall, Providence, was charged with driving without a license on Hope Street at 8:30 a.m. Aug. 20.

Rustem G. Owen, 48, of 67 Church St., Bristol, was charged with driving with a suspended license on Bradford Street just after 10 a.m. Aug. 21.

Rhonda Silva, 49, of 22 Roosevelt Drive, Bristol, was arrested on bench warrants from Superior Court and the 6th District Court.
