Caitlin was a graduate of St. Philomena School, Bishop Connolly High School, and received a BA from Villanova University.  For the past 10 years she was employed as an English Language Arts teacher at Portsmouth Middle School.  Caitlin also worked the last 19 summers at Warren’s Point Beach Club as a lifeguard and assistant manager.

Caitlin enjoyed dancing, teaching, sports, and gardening.  She will always be remembered as a great teacher and athlete.  Throughout her soccer career, she received numerous awards for her competitive style of play.

Her greatest passion was time spent with her husband and three daughters on trips to the zoo, library, walks in the Simmons Mill Pond woods, and her beloved Warren’s Point Beach.

Beside her husband and parents, she is survived by her three daughters, Margaret Alice (7), Eileen Frances (5), and Eleanor Karen Burnett (2).

She is also survived by a sister, Susan Tullson and her husband Christopher, and by five brothers, Thomas Fennessey III and his wife Kristen, Edward Fennessey, Daniel Fennessey and his wife Shelly, Brendan Fennessey, and Shane Fennessey and his wife Pam. She was cherished by her 12 nieces and nephews.

Mass will be held on Saturday, Nov. 5, at 10 a.m. at St. Catherine of Siena Church, 74 Simmons Rd., Little Compton.  Visiting hours are Friday, Nov. 4, from 4 to 7 p.m. at Fern Acres Funeral Home, 72 Willow Ave., Little Compton.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a memorial fund to benefit her three daughters.  For more information please go to:  www.youcaring.com/theMEEfund
