Jennie H. Silvia, 93, of Barrington

Jennie H. (Morello) Silvia, age 93, passed away Friday, Sept. 16, 2016 at Hope Hospice & Palliative Care of RI.  She was the wife of the late Louis W. Silvia, Sr.

Born in Warren a daughter of the late Ernesto and Giovannina (Scafferelli) Morello, she had been a Barrington resident for more than 40 years, coming from Hayward, Calif.

Ms. Silvia is survived by one son, Louis W. Silvia, Jr. and his wife Lynda of Oakdale, Calif.; two granddaughters, Libby Jablonski and Lindsay Cruz; and three great-grandchildren, Jordan and Sierra Jablonski and Austin Cruz. She was the sister of the late Theresa Ranieri, Ann Carpenter, Helen Perry, Mary Giglio, and Salvatore, Harry, and Stephen Pannone.

Contributions may be made in her honor to Hope Hospice & Palliative Care of RI, 1085 North Main St., Providence, RI 02904. Private arrangements are in the care of Wilbur-Romano Funeral Home, Warren, RI.  For condolences, www.wilbur-romano.com.
