Letter: Thanks for helping unload all the pumpkins

To the editor:

St. John's Church extends an enormous thank you to the members of the community who helped unload pumpkins on Sunday. Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, East Bay Rowers, BHS FBLA and NHS members, and anyone else who donated time and strong arms, were invaluable to the process of painting the lawn orange.

Without your strength, enthusiasm and energy, the unloading would have taken much longer and would have been far less enjoyable.

Thank you for sharing part of your weekend with us. We also look forward to meeting members of the community over the next few weeks while The Pumpkin Patch is open.

Happy autumn!
