The “Hangover Classic” has been a New Year’s Day tradition for 32 years. The race is a classic-style road race that lets runners start the year off on the right foot. The flat and fast course is through Colt State Park, along Bristol Harbor and beautiful Poppasquash Road.
Race headquarters, including day-of-race registration and bib pickup, is at Agave restaurant, 805 Hope St. Headquarters opens Sunday, Jan. 1, at 9 a.m., with the race start at 10:30.
An all-you-can-eat breakfast buffet (additional charge) and trophies will follow the race at Agave.
One-of-a-kind trophies will go to the top two men and top two women overall as well as the first male and female in each category: Junior (18 and under), Open (19-29), Sub Master (30-39), Master (40-49), Senior (50-59), Veteran (60-69) and Grand Veteran (70+).
T-shirts will go to the first 250 applicants. The race course is open for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
