Patricia Ann Bailey, 87, a long-time resident of Warren, passed away Thursday, July 21, 2016, at Hope Hospice and Palliative Care.
Born in Cleveland, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late William and Thelma (Rempes) Ramsey. Patricia was a graduate of the University of Rhode Island and was a librarian for the Warren School Department before retiring. After her retirement, she became a Deacon in the Episcopal Church, serving at several churches and nursing homes. She was active in the Warren Preservation Society and the Massasoit Historical Association.
She leaves her children, Laurel Williams of Phoenix, Ariz. and Robert Bailey of Peoria, Ariz.; and her grandsons, William Wallace, Joshua Wallace and Zackery Bailey. She was the sister of Judy Ramsey and the late Peter Ramsey.
A Memorial Service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 27 in the Church of the Ascension, 390 Pontiac Ave., Cranston.
