Water Street residents and others living in North Warren will see some major changes this year as Warren begins its long-awaited streetscape and infrastructure project.

Town officials say there will be changes in traffic routing and other impacts as workers rebuild the street’s sidewalks and road, install a sewer line and update water utilities along the road. To help residents navigate what’s ahead, the town will hold an information session this Thursday, Feb. 23, in the Warren Town Hall council chambers. The meeting starts at 7 p.m.

This will be the first of several meetings on the project and while the ultimate timing of the work depends on weather and other factors, officials hope to have a majority of the work completed by the end of this year. Repaving of Water Street will likely occur in Spring 2018.
