A Weekend of Coaching in Newport

Posted

It's a colorful, historic event and there's no place like Newport to experience it.  A Weekend of Coaching returns from August 16-19, when a collection of privately-owned, authentic 19th century horse-drawn coaches will parade through the streets of Newport and the grounds of the Newport Mansions. On Saturday morning, August 18, there will be an exhibition of driving skills on the back lawn of The Elms, sponsored by BankNewport, starting at 10:30. Admission to the exhibition is free.  Don't miss this beautiful recreation of an historic sporting tradition!
