Albert J. Pelletier Jr., 84, Westport

Albert Joseph Pelletier Jr., 84, of Westport, passed away March 11, 2019.  He was the husband of the late Marlene (Ferreira) Pelletier and together they raised their five loving children in Westport.

Born in Fall River, he was son of the late Albert J. Pelletier Sr. and the late Alice (Pinault) Pelletier.  A veteran of the Korean War, he served his country in the United States Navy.  Following the war, he graduated with an electrical degree from Fisher Junior College.  After many years of selflessly working hard, he retired to enjoy his days playing golf and spending time with his family.

He leaves as his legacy four sons, Bryan Pelletier of Swansea, Peter Pelletier of Somerset, Allen D. Pelletier of Westport and Keith A. Pelletier of Westport; a daughter, Karen O'Donnell of Swansea; 17 grandchildren, Holly, Emma, Heather, Michelle, Christine, Lisa, Matthew, Andrew, A.J., Jessica, Jeremy, Stephen, Leslie, Patrick, Austin, Brody and Lily; 16 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Memorial Mass of Christian Burial to which relatives and friends are invited will be Saturday, March 23, at St. John the Baptist Church, Westport at 10 a.m.

Memorial visitation will be Saturday, March 23, at the Potter Funeral Home, 81 Reed Road, Westport, from 8-9:30 a.m. prior to the Mass.

Burial will be in Beech Grove Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Westport Council on Aging Transportation Fund, 75 Reed Rd., Westport, MA 02790.
