This class will introduce children to artists and writers who have created imaginary worlds, characters, and stories. Using mixed media, the children will be encouraged to use their imaginations to illustrate, talk and write about their own ideas. Literary themes for ideas presented in class will be fairy tales, magic, and imaginary settings, objects and animals, but children will have final choice over what form their art will take.
