Ballet RI performances at Black Box Theatre
Up Close on Hope: Intimacy and Art, Rhode Island Style
On Feb. 9, 11, 16, and 18, Ballet RI will present "Up Close on
Hope." Audiences will have an intimate experience of brand-new works by
members of the Ballet RI Company, centering on Rhode Island themes and
stories. This performance sets the stage for exploring intimacy and art,
showcasing the talent and creativity of the company.
Gwendolyn the Graceful Pig
On Feb. 10, 11, 17, and 18, the sold-out chatterBOX Theatre series will return with “Gwendolyn the Graceful Pig.” Choreographed by Eugenia Zinovieva and based on the children’s book by David Ira Rottenberg, this delightful story of Gwendolyn and Omar, two pigs with different dreams, promises a heartwarming and entertaining experience for audiences of all ages. This program is sponsored by Seven Stars Bakery.
