The Barrington 12-year-old Little League All-Star team started the District II tournament 2-0. Barrington beat Darlington 2-0 in the first game, then defeated East Providence 8–0 in the second game.
In the first game, Griffin Crain pitched a complete game no-hitter against Darlington. Barrington’s offense was held scoreless until the fourth inning when Mitchell Ivatts and Gabe Tanous scored.
In the second game, Trevor Snow and Owen Pfeffer combined to pitch a perfect game, allowing no runners on base. Quinn Murphy caught the perfect game. The offense was led by Tanous, who had four hits, as well as Griffin Crain and Trevor Snow, who had three hits apiece.
The next game for the Barrington Little League 12-year-old All-Stars is Saturday, June 30, at Sherwood field in Barrington against Riverside.
