Two authors with strong ties to Barrington are among those whose works have been nominated for 2016 RI Teen Book Awards.
Peter Johnson, who is a Barrington resident and who regularly visits local schools to talk about his books, is the author of "
The Life and Times of Benny Alvarez."
Also, John Rocco's and Jay Primiano's "
Swim That Rock" has been nominated for the award. Mr. Primiano and Mr. Rocco
grew up in Barrington.
