Barrington authors' works nominated for award

Two authors with strong ties to Barrington are among those whose works have been nominated for 2016 RI Teen Book Awards. Peter Johnson, who is a Barrington resident and who regularly visits local schools to talk about his books, is the author of "The Life and Times of Benny Alvarez." Also, John Rocco's and Jay Primiano's "Swim That Rock" has been nominated for the award. Mr. Primiano and Mr. Rocco grew up in Barrington.
