The Catanzaros ran Hendry's Trees — a Christmas tree lot on County Road located near the Barrington Congregational Church. In addition to donating a portion of the proceeds to Tap-In (Touch A Person In Need) and the Congregational Church, the Catanzaros also held a raffle for the Christmas stocking. Families that purchased a tree at the lot filled out cards for the raffle.
The Catanzaros — brothers Anthony, Michael and Frankie — drew the card and then surprised the winner, Riley.
"He couldn’t believe it. We showed up to his home after talking with his mom," said Anthony. "He had no idea we were coming."
The Catanzaros said this is the second year they have run a Christmas tree lot in town. They named the lot after their father, Henry, but added the "d" because that is how they sometimes pronounce his name.
