Narragansett eliminated Barrington High School from the Division II baseball playoffs on Wednesday, June 6. The Mariners defeated the Eagles, 3-0, during an elimination bracket final at Pierce Field in East Providence.

Henry Johnson pitched a complete game for Barrington, giving up seven hits to Narragansett batters. London Sudduth recorded the win for the Mariners, allowing only three hits.

It was the second time during the playoffs that Sudduth and the Mariners defeated the Eagles. In the playoff opener last week, Sudduth pitched Narragansett to a 7-1 win over Barrington.

Barrington entered the playoffs as the number three seed, while Narragansett was the sixth seed.
