The Barrington High School girls basketball team defeated Scituate, 45-39, on Saturday, March 9, and punched its ticket to the semifinals of the State Championship Tournament.
Barrington will tip off against LaSalle in the semifinals on Saturday, March 16 at noon at URI's Ryan Center.
The Eagles built a 14-10 lead at halftime against Scituate and held on for the five-point victory.
Alex Marinelli and Nina Gibbons each scored 10 points, while Grace Ceseretti added nine, and Olivia Middleton and Cary Heterick finished with seven points each.
Madison Medbury led Scituate with 18 points.
LaSalle defeated Bay View 56-30 in the quarterfinals.
