The Barrington High School girls' basketball team advanced to the Division I semifinals with a 48-26 win over Bay View on Tuesday night, Feb. 23.
Andrea Kubas-Meyer scored 15 points to lead the Eagles, while Gloria Ellison added 11 and Olivia Middleton finished with nine.
The Eagles broke out to a 25-15 lead at halftime and outscored Bay View 23-11 in the second half.
Barrington, which improved to 13-8 overall, defeated Bay View twice during the regular season — topping the Bengals 45-39 on Dec. 18 and 53-43 on Jan. 22.
The Eagles will play against South Kingstown in the semifinals. The game is set for Thursday night at 7:30 at Rhode Island College.
