Barrington High School football game pushed to Saturday

Posted

The Barrington High School football team's game against Hendricken has been rescheduled.

The Eagles were scheduled to host the Hawks tonight, Oct. 2, at Victory Field, but officials moved the game to Saturday night, Oct. 3. Kickoff is slated for 7 p.m.

Wet weather is likely to blame for the change in the schedule — heavy rain is forecasted for Friday night, while Saturday's outlook shows intermittent showers.

Barrington has started the season at 0-2 in Division, while the defending state champion Hawks are undefeated at 2-0.

Pop Warner games are Sunday

The switch in the high school schedule has also forced a change in the Barrington Pop Warner games. Originally planned for Saturday at Victory Field, the games will instead be played on Sunday.
