A Barrington man stopped into the police station on Monday, June 18, to report unsafe conditions on the East Bay Bike Path.

The man said his son had been riding his bike on the path near Brickyard Pond when the edge of the asphalt path caused the boy to fall off his bike and break his arm.

The man said his son was trying to ride from the grassy shoulder onto the path when he crashed. The man also provided photos of the area where the accident occurred.
